Richmond VMFA African American Art Tour and Lunch

Join fellow Kenyon alumni, parents and friends as we explore the VMFA’s collection of art by African American and African Diasporic artists. From enslaved artists such as potter David Drake, to the innovative styles of Aaron Douglas, to the reimagining of art by Kehinde Wiley, VMFA’s collection spans the history of the United States. Looking forward to seeing you all!

Parking is available in the museum’s lots for $6/day and there is also typically street parking available. We will meet by the gift shop before the tour, which will last an hour. Following the tour we will gather at the museum’s cafe for a casual lunch.

Tour admission fees will be covered courtesy of Kenyon's Alumni Office.
